I received word today that my much anticipated book release has finally happened! I intend to put an official pictured link on the side bar when I get a moment of time to spare.
I know of a good number of friends and family who have been visiting Amazon.com today to show their support. Thanks guys!
Though I have 2 other books almost complete, this is the first one to market and that makes it forever special. This moment takes me back to the release of my 1st song as a writer, Sticks and Stones, my first CD as a singer titled, Livin' the Life and my first music video for CMT, Didley. So far, all my firsts have been successes. WOW! The pressure's on.
The question now is, "Is it too much for me to ask or even to expect that my first book garner the same success?"
"Could the Universe or God judge that I am too greedy in asking for another one and withhold success in order to give me another dose of humility?"
NO!
You see, these are the questions of someone about to convince himself and the Universe that he is not worthy. That he should be guilty, or even ashamed of receiving an abundant harvest.
Family, this is not what we're here to learn. I want you to expect the best, expect success, expect happiness and by all means, expect all these things in abundance and without guilt.
We were not put here to fail or to settle; we exist to thrive without limits and to succeed abundantly in all areas of our lives.
A few years ago, I decided that I wanted to write words that would motivate and inspire strangers to energize the greatness in themselves, the way Anthony Robbins, Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Joe Vitale and so many others had done for me.
These writers and teachers that have come before me have taught me this: If you're not running to win, then you might as well slow down and enjoy the view.
We are here to give our best energy to whatever thing or things that we do and you can bet I'm running to win.
Oh, in case you're wondering what I would deem success where this book is concerned?
It would be a success if just ONE person found what they were looking for. Yes, believe it or not; just one person. The rest would be butter on the biscuit.
Hey, what does Anthony Robbins and Elbert West have in common? We both have written at least one book. And Who knows where it will go from here.
The name of the book is: Sowing Seeds of Purpose (How to Harvest a Life Abundant)

Have a blessed week-end.
